Error ORA-02049: Timeout When Changing Role Permission in Maintenance Screen (Doc ID 1331745.1)

Symptoms

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) 13.1.2 version, when attempting to give permissions to a new role the following error occurs:

Unable to execute ParametricStatement: update AC_ROLE
......
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-02049: timeout: distributed transaction waiting for lock


Steps to Recreate:

1. In SIM navigate to Admin >> Security >> Role Maintenance.
2. Create a new role.
3. Go back and try to edit the role created at step 2 and add some permissions to this role.
4. Click on "Done" to confirm the changes.  The error will appear.
