Gets Error 'Someone Is Working On This Object. Please Try Again Later' Any Time When Attempting to Release a Change (Doc ID 1335866.1)

Symptoms

When trying to release a certain change, below message is returned any time and unable to release the change:

Someone is working on this object. Please try again later

Steps

The issue is reproduced by following below steps:

  1. Login to Web Client with user who has enough privilege to release the change
  2. Open the problem change in CCB status, and attempt to change the status to Released. Gets error
  3. Retry again later, but still gets the same error
