Last updated on SEPTEMBER 12, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 and later

Goal

The NCC* application sets the "Number Qualifier Indicator" field of the CAMEL** Connect "Generic Number" to 0x06 when authorizing the connection of a voice call. This note explains if that "Number Qualifier Indicator" can be changed to the other values like "Additional Called Number", "Additional Connected Number", etc.

*NCC : or OCNCC, Oracle Communication Network Charging and Control

**CAMEL : Customised Applications for Mobile networks Enhanced Logic

This is an example output of a Camel Connect message that includes the "Generic Number" with "Number Qualifier Indicator" set to 0x06.
