Last updated on NOVEMBER 17, 2015

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

When implementing Oracle Financial Services Profitability Analytics (PFTBI) or Asset Liability Management Analytics (ALMBI), you have to run a Table to Table (T2T) load.  In this case, you are using T2T_FACT_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_LOANS to load rows into the following tables:

FCT_COMMON_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY
FCT_ALM_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY
FCT_FTP_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY
FCT_PFT_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY

The T2T process fails to load any rows and the following error message is in the ora_err_mesg$ column of FCT_COMMON_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY$:

ORA-02291: integrity constraint (ATOMIC.FK_T_COMMON_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_3) violated - parent key not found

Note: Errors like the following also exist in FCT_ALM_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY$, FCT_FTP_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY$, and FCT_PFT_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY$:

ORA-02291: integrity constraint (ATOMIC.FK_FCT_ALM_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_1) violated - parent key not found
ORA-02291: integrity constraint (ATOMIC.FK_FCT_FTP_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_1) violated - parent key not found
ORA-02291: integrity constraint (ATOMIC.FK_FCT_PFT_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_1) violated - parent key not found

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to Operations > Batch Maintenance
2. Create a new Batch
3. Under the Batch, create a new Task with the following:

Components: LOAD DATA

Load Mode: Table To Table
Source Name: RESULT_AREA_T2T
File Name: T2T_FACT_ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_LOANS (or another T2T definition)
Data File Name: blank
Default Value: [DRCY]='USD' (or another currency)

When you run the T2T batch, the batch fails.
