Discover Privilege on Subclass Level Gives Insufficient Privilege While Adding Items to the Affected Items (AI) Tab of Changes (Doc ID 1338008.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Change Order using |Actions |Create Change from Item, the following error occurs.

STEPS
-----------------------

  1.  Login to Java Client as administrator user
  2. Go to Admin |Data Settings |Criteria |Create New Criteria |Select the object as ECO subclass, name it Only ECO
  3. Go to Admin |Data Settings |Criteria |Create New Criteria |Select the object as Part subclass, name it as Only Part
  4. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Discovery |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only ECO, Name it as Discover Only ECO
  5. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Discovery |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only Part, Name it as Discover Only Part
  6. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Create |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only ECO, name it as Create Only ECO
  7. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Create |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only Part, name it as Create Only Part
  8. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Read |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only ECO, name it as Read Only ECO (Include all attributes in the applied to field)
  9. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Read |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only Part, name it as Read Only Part (Include all attributes in the applied to field)
  10. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Modify |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only ECO, name it as Modify Only ECO (include all attributes in applied to field)
  11. Go to Admin |User Settings |Privileges |Modify |Create New |Privilege Criteria as Only Part, name it as Modify Only Part (Include all attributes in applied to field)
  12. Go to Admin |User Settings |Roles |Create New Role as TestRole
  13. Assign the privilege masks "Create Only ECO", Create Only Part, Modify Only ECO, Modify Only Part, Read Only ECO, Read Only Part, Discover Only ECO, Discover Only Part.
  14. Go to Admin |User Settings |Users |Create New User name Test
  15. Assign the Role TestRole to the user Test
  16. Login to Web Client as user Test
  17. Create New Part
  18. From the Parts |Action Menu |Create Change |ECO
  19. Provide the Change Number details |Save/Ok Error "Insufficient Privilege"
