In Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System, when NLS_DATE_FORMAT is set to DDMMRRRR in the forms server for the hand-held application, a database management system (DMS) error is encountered when the user confirms the 'best before date' and presses the F4 key to create a flexible pallet receiving (FPR) container for a perishable item in FPR.
The error description is the following:
Steps to Reproduce
1. Set up the forms server such that NLS_DATE_FORMAT=DDMMRRRR
2. Create a purchase order (PO) which has a perishable item to be received.
3. Create an FPR appointment and select the PO created in step 2.
4. While receiving a container for this item, after confirming the best before date and the container qty, press F4.
5. DMS ERROR is shown.
