Goal
This document will instruct users on how to reset a P6 application user's password in P6 Release 8.x and later if the password is forgotten, or the user receives the following error when logging in to P6:
Invalid Login Name or Password. Please try again or choose Cancel to exit the Application.
- These instructions can only be performed when P6 is configured to use Native Database Authentication, it does not apply to P6 configured with LDAP Authentication.
- This document is most useful when necessary to reset an admin superuser account, if no other admin superusers can login to the application. If it is possible to login with an admin superuser account, reset the user's password from the User Access/User Administration page.
