Problem on EDR Counter Causing ccsCDRLoader Always Reporting 0 EDR (Doc ID 1342792.1)

Symptoms

The ccsCDRLoader which is located in Service Management System (SMS) does not correctly report the number of processed Event Data Records (EDR), even though the ccsCDRLoader is actually processing the EDRs. The EDR counter is always reported as 0 which can falsely indicate that no EDRs have been processed.

The EDR counter is reported by ccsCDRLoader instance into /IN/service_packages/CCS/tmp/ccsCDRLoader.log, which can be seen as follows:

NOTICE: ccsCDRLoader stats: 0 CDRs processed - 0 succeeded, 0 failed



The issue is only in the reporting of the EDR counter, it does not impact the EDR processing. This can be proved by number of EDR moved/generated into output directory.
