VNO Identification At The NEP And JNEP Layer (Doc ID 1343430.1)

Last updated on MARCH 03, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 5.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A parent work order (WO) gets submitted to the JSRP through the RMI interface. This WO has a VNO ID added to it. Let's assume this WO has 1 CSDL mapped to 2 ASDLs (ASDL1 & ASDL2). ASDL1 talks to some LDAP server and ASDL2 retrieves the VNO ID associated with this WO through a Java class (JNEP layer) and this VNO ID is used for new child WOs that are submitted through the same interface. This is to facilitate the fallout management as WOs without VNO IDs are not visible to the upstream system hence the need to associate the parent WO VNO ID to child WOs. This is happening in production environment (The current requirement has arisen because of a previous requirement change).

Is there is any existing ASAP API which retrieves this VNO ID info?
