SSL initialization error - MTA and Store Processes Not Working Over SSL (Doc ID 1344657.1)

Symptoms

  MTA and message store processes (IMAP, POP, webmail) not able to operate via SSL.  Error messages may include:

ImapProxyAService.cfg ASockSSL_Init: couldn't find private key for cert certname (-8166)

General Error: SSL initialization error: ASockSSL_Init: PK11 auth failed to certname

General Error: SSL initialization error: ASockSSL_Init: couldn't find private key for cert certname (-8166)

These errors will be in many of the log files, including:  default, imap, pop, MMP AService logs, MTA logs, etc.

Installing a new certificate or certificate chain.
