Messaging Server 6.2 Is Failing To Connect To The Configuration Directory Server (Doc ID 1347262.1)

libimta.so 6.2-6.01 (built 11:15:13, Apr 3 2006)

Messaging Server 6.2 is unable to get its configuration data from the Directory Server (DS) configuration server.

Symptoms

Trying to launch Messaging Server results in the following errors:
