Goal
There is a business need to have a two level sourcing strategy.
At the Finished Good/ End order level, business need to split all the end orders the business receives among two organizations/trading partners as per pre-defined sourcing strategy.
The business would want to run a constrained plan but want to enforce the sourcing split at the finished good level at all the times.
Any order booked, should be split according to the sourcing rule irrespective of any constraints.
At the lower level, the sourcing has to take place respecting the sourcing rules but all the constraints need to be considered.
In simple terms,
For end item the sourcing is: 95% 5% sourcing rule in rank 1 (95% make at ,5% transfer from)
and for subassembly in upstream, rank1 - rank 2 rule based on constraints.
