Layaway Transaction Cannot Be Picked Up If the First Payment Is Made for the Total Amount (Doc ID 1350705.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS), when performing a Layaway Initiated transaction and paying the full amount, the layaway cannot be picked up.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to ORPOS.
  2. Select F5 Transaction, F6 Layaway, and then F3 New.  Link an existing customer.
  3. Enter an item number.
  4. Tender with cash using the same amount in the payment field as in the balance due field.
  5. Log in to ORPOS.
  6. Select F5 Transaction, F6 Layaway, F2 Find, and search by Layaway No.
  7. Enter the layaway number from the receipt from the previous steps.
  8. Note that the Pickup button is disabled.
