Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 1.0 to 3.0.1 [Release 1.0 to 3.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
This document should allow you to quickly create a test environment with S/MIME on Convergence.
It assumes you have already installed Messaging Server and Convergence and you are working on Solaris.
This document can also be easily adapted for use on Linux. The main difference will be the location of the openssl command. The configuration of Convergence and Messaging Server will be identical.
This configuration is NOT intended to be used in a production environment, although it could be adapted to suit.
Note this document applies to Convergence 1, 2 and 3 and includes instructions for configuring Messaging Server 7 and 8 with Legacy and Unified Configuration. For Convergence 3 S/MIME Configuration with Messaging Server legacy configuration, see the Convergence 3.01 Admin Guide.
