Specific User Cannot See Product Hierarchy in Transfer Pricing Rule (Doc ID 1354561.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version 5.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

In Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 5.5, if you login as USER1 and try to create a new Transfer Pricing Rule, under Assumption Browser, the product hierarchy is not displayed.  Only the Orphan Branch is displayed.  This prevents USER1 from creating a new Transfer Pricing Rule.

If you login as another user, USER2, and try to create a new TP rule, the Hierarchy is displayed correctly.  USER2 can create a new TP Rule successfully.  Additionally, USER1 can edit the rule created by USER2 and can see the hierarchy correctly.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into OFSAA as USER1
  2. Go to Funds Transfer Pricing
  3. Go to Assumption Specification > Transfer Pricing Rules
  4. Click on the Add button

In the Rule Definition screen, only the Orphan Branch is shown under Assumption Browser.
