Purpose
This document can be used to resolve the following error when attempting to print or preview a report or form:
oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: PublicReportService::generateReport failed: due to oracle.xdo.XDOException: java.lang.reflect.invocationTargetException
Error may also look like this:
oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: PublicReportService::generateReport for reportAbsolutePath [<DIR>/<REPORT_OR_FORM_NAME>.xdo] failed: due to oracle.xdo.XDOException: java.lang.NullPointerException
