NP Precheck Not Issuing "Terminal Length 0" And Causing Configuration Timeout

(Doc ID 1354882.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version: 5.2.4 and later   [Release: 5.2 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When applying the a vlanInterface Configuration Policy (CP) to an already created interface on a device, IPSA is not issuing the "terminal length 0" command when it does the "show running-config <interface>" command. If the interface config is too long, the device response tries to paginate the response text waiting for a input to scroll to the next page. The NP does not interpret this and times out.
