Outlook Connector Is Not Picking Up Changes To Users Mail Attribute On Startup

After a user switched his mail attribute within the Directory Server and made the original mail attribute a mailalternateaddress, Outlook Connector did not pick up that change and still reflected the original mail address. The user tried many restarts and syncs in Outlook, to no avail.
