Some New Maintenance Objects Have Invalid Business Rule Validations (Doc ID 1360681.1)

The CONTENT ZONE will not allow a delete action. It has an invalid business rule validation that checks the existence of a child table before allowing the delete, even though the delete is part of the actual delete request. This is a valid check but should be done after the rows are deleted.


Symptoms

It seems to hacean invalid business rule validation that checks the existence of a child table before allowing the delete, even though the delete is part of the actual delete request.  This is a valid check but should be done after the rows are deleted.

Changes

User were able to replicate this defect in an environment where L2CACHE was set to READ-WRITE, when user changed L2CACHE to OFF and no longer received the error.  .
