Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 6 (2005Q4) and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The Calendar Server is failing to start up correctly.  Using start-cal fails to successfully start the enabled calendar services.

We are seeing the below entries in the Calendar Server admin.log.

[16/Sep/2011:02:57:31 +0000] <HOST> csadmind[11615]: General Warning: Error checking cache database: Logging region out of memory; you may need to increase its size
[16/Sep/2011:02:57:31 +0000] <HOST> csadmind[11615]: General Error: Unable to open cache database /var/opt/SUNWics5/csdb/ldap_cache/ldapcache.db for 11615. Returned 12
[16/Sep/2011:02:57:31 +0000] <HOST> csadmind[11615]: General Critical: Fatal error 70: Cannot open ldap cache database

What is the cause of this error?  And, is there anything we can do to correct it?
