Code that modifies an ATG Commerce Order object must follow a specific transactional pattern to avoid exceptions and deadlocks. This transactional pattern is implemented by the form handlers that work with Order objects. This document describes this pattern and provides examples from the source code of the Commerce form handlers. You can implement this same transactional pattern in form handlers that you write.
