In Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), you cannot run an FTP Process successfully against an instrument table record with a node level dimension value assigned to it.  The process fails to generate a Transfer Rate for the record and the following message exists in FSI_PROCESS_ERRORS even though the Transfer Pricing Rule does contain a definition for the node level dimension value:

No transfer pricing method defined for Line Item 10000.000000 PRODUCT, Currency USD CURRENCY.

There is a row in the FSI_M_PROD_INST_TABLE_MAP table for the node level product value and the currency.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Funds Transfer Pricing
  2. Go to FTP Processing > Standard Process
  3. Create a new process to run against instrument table data with node level Product dimension values

No Transfer Rate is generated for the instrument table records with the node level product value.
