Goal
Scenario :
One is planning to purge data in production system as there is a need to reuse the storage space.
But it is found that there are open items, so the partitions that contain events pointing to these items will not be touched.
User tried to call PCM_OP_AR_ITEM_WRITEOFF to write off these open items so that they get closed. However, the problem is that the opcode is taking 2 seconds for each item and there are thousands of such items.
Question :
Can one do the purging with -f option (force removal of partitions) or is there any other way to do this in faster way. The requirement is to free the storage space as soon as possible.
