Origin and Destination Area Code "*" in Pipeline Zone Setting Doesn't Work (Doc ID 1365339.1)

Goal

"*" doesn't work for origin area code and destination area code.

The user is trying to create a new Standard Zone in Pipeline. For the origin area code and destination area code, the user is trying to use a generic value (as *) so all the origin and destination are valid for the new zone.
But the '*' doesn't work. Is there some kind of generic value?
