Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 Memory usage reported by Timos MemoryManager on http server is many times too small than real.

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. run timos manager
  2. then call PCM_OP_TCF_AAA_AUTHORIZE, PCM_OP_TCF_AAA_STOP_ACCOUNTING for the same session
  3. now check the Memory Manager section in httpserver. For example, it shows 81777KB and now check also the timos process memory consumption using OS tool, like ps or glance, for example, it shows 85MB.
  4. later, update the timos cache with the registry semaphore
              timosMgr.DataMigrator.OnDemandObjectTypes = *
  5. OS tools reports increase in timos memory consumption, up to 3 GB on a small, testing env. But httpserver still reports 81MB.
