Error Installing 6.2; Unable To Obtain File Lock On Mslv01.Lok, "Access Is Denied"

The following error occurs while attempting to install/deploy MetaSolv Solution 6.2.0.X on the WebLogic Integration Server. The error occurs when attempting to restart the WebLogic server using the custom startup scripts to deploy the MetaSolv Solution application to the server.

There are 1 nested errors: Unable to obtain File lock on D:\m62\m62domain\servers\mslv01\tmp\mslv01.lok : D:\m62\m62domain\servers\mslv01\tmp\mslv01.lok (Access is denied)
at weblogic.t3.srvr.ServerServicesManager.startService(
at weblogic.t3.srvr.ServerServicesManager.startInStandbyState(
at weblogic.t3.srvr.T3Srvr.initializeStandby(
at weblogic.t3.srvr.T3Srvr.startup(
at weblogic.Server.main(


Process that that error is encountered:

1. Installed WebLogic Integration (including patches outlined in MetaSolv Solution 6.2 install guide)

2. Created WLI domain

3. Started WebLogic server

4. Executed MetaSolv Solution installer up to the point that states to shutdown the WebLogic server and restart using the custom startup script

5. Started WebLogic server using custom startup script (example: startmslv01.cmd) and the server fails to start with errors
