Error: "Unable To Save Markup. Cannot create output file" when Trying to Save Markups

AutoVue 20.1.0 is integrated with a Document Management System (DMS) using a custom ISDK 20.1.0 based integration. The users can view files in AutoVue but they get the following error message when trying to save markups:
Unable to save markup. Cannot create output file.
Even if the above error tells otherwise, the markups are being saved to the DMS and can later be retrieved and loaded in the AutoVue Applet.
