Symptoms

Amendment processing is not working with Automated Tasks.

The task (Inv_CreateDSL) is configured as "undo" then "redo"

The following then occurs:

It appears, that the 'redo' invocation of the task is being invoked before the 'undo' invocation is allowed to run / complete.

In the resulting diagnostic files, the following is shown:

The automation agents are configured for the Inv_CreateDSL task. Here is a summary of the key logs from the resulting diagnostic files:
4:38:09,875 First deadlock message.
4:38:09,984 First ‘node not found’ message
4:38:10,015 Running UIM_CreateDSL_Request_do xsl .
Node not found error messages continue.
4:38:10,015 Automation plugin created.
4:38:10,031 Parameter debug statements from UIM_CreateDSL_Request_do xsl
Node not found error messages continue.
4:38:10,187 Line 676. First instance of ‘Workflow thread does not exist’ error message.
4:38:10,218 Line 1012 First mention of undo task automation exception.
4:38:12,421 Line 1145 CreateDSL response handler diags printed.

In a second log file is the same scenario was  tested, but where the user has disabled/removed the plugins from the Inv_CreateDSL task ( essentially making it a manual task ).
When submitting the revision, the 'deadlock' error messages still occur. From a task instance perspective, the task never appears in the worklist with the Undo execution mode. Only the Redo mode is instantiated.
