Customizing IPSA messages files for core cartridges and service cartridges (Doc ID 1372980.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When using legacy "core" cartridges and newer SDK based (base and service) cartridges in IPSA, the user may often need to customize the messages files for device responses for success and/or fail scenarios.

The older core cartridges used the <IPSA HOME>/Config/networkProcessor/MIPSA_registry.xml file which would then reference the location of the messages files. The newer SDK based cartridges use their own individual registry files under <IPSA HOME>/Config/networkProcessor/Custom/Registries
