In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) 5.6, when you try to define an Early Redemption within the Prepayment rule for a Product that is a liability, you cannot select the "Early Redemption" tab within the Assumption Details screen.  The tab is disabled and will not open.  This prevents you from defining an Early Redemption.

In your Setup, in Application Preferences, the Product dimension is "Product" and not "Common Chart of Accounts".  Also, in Dimension Management, for "Common Chart of Accounts", you have a member whose code is "1" and whose Account Type = Earning Assets.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Asset Liability Management
  2. Go to Assumption Specification > Prepayments
  3. Create or edit a Prepayment rule
  4. Select a Liability Product and click on the "Add New" button

In the window that opens, the Prepayment tab is displayed and you cannot select the Early Redemption tab.
