APCC: Purge Plan Summary Leaves Orphaned Data Causing Significant Database Size Issues (Doc ID 1375759.1)

Symptoms

After we run Purge Plan Summary for some earlier runs of ASCP archived data, the plan_run_id aren’t visible in the list of values (both in the purge program as well as in APCC dashboards) as expected. However, we still see significant data remaining in the underlying MSC_%_F tables like msc_supplies_f, msc_demands_f etc.

The uploaded example output of the record count from msc_supplies_f shows information for each plan_run_id while the only last 2 plan_run_id are visible in the list of values.

STEPS

(1) Run the purge plan concurrent program
(2) Note that there is orphaned data remaining.
