Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure 7.2, if you execute a process using the Batch Scheduler and, under "New Schedule", select the "Adhoc" option and set a date and time, the process fails.  The process is executed at the correct date and time but does not run successfully.  The batch always ends with a status of "Failed".

The same process is successful if executed immediately in the Batch Execution screen.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Operations > Batch Scheduling
  2. Check the box next to the batch to schedule
  3. Under "New Schedule", select "Adhoc"
  4. Enter a Name for the Scheduled batch
  5. Under "Schedule Task", add a row.
  6. Enter a Info Date, Run Date and Run Time in the future.
  7. Save

The process is executed at the Run Time.  However, it has a failed status in the Batch Monitor screen.
