Symptoms

Database credentials are required during an Oracle Communications Network Integrity 7 installation. The GUI installer prompts for a user with SYSDBA or DBA access. However, when a DB user with this access level is entered, the GUI then states that specifically the SYS user must be used. Individuals installing NI7 are unlikely to have access to the SYS user.
