How to Purge or Delete Orders (Doc ID 1379761.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 18, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 2006.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

If you are persisting anonymous orders or otherwise have a long history of abandoned or empty orders in your database, this may cause performance issues in the database.  It is often desirable to setup a job for purging these orders based on a particular criteria, either to run on a scheduled basis or manually run on occasion.

For purging asset versions in Content Administration, see instead Note 1553121.1 - Running the Oracle ATG Purging Service for the first time.
