Cases Missing In The Duplicate Search Screen

A number of ew cases are missing while doing duplicate search from the> Case Action > New Screen.
Newly entered cases are appearing in the duplicate search result but a number of expected cases are missing.
If the missing cases are opened and saved, then the missing cases also appears in the duplicate search result
