Purpose

This Knowledge Article attempts to track all patches that affect the Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing to Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management integration product.

This article will continue to track:
CCB 2.3.1 and newer
MDM 2.1.x and newer
Associated FW patches

(MDM 2.0.x patches have been moved off to 1964457.1.)

At the bottom of this article, you will find additional information on the functional enhancements that have been delivered for this integration.

Please refer to the Product Fix Design documents for each patch for specific patch details.

CCB-MDM patches require OPatch, as documented in the Readme.txt files. If you are installing OPatch on a Windows host with Patch 6486988, please be sure to *uncheck* Oracle Software Packager from the available components list. Otherwise, you will most likely get the an error trying to call the file ospShellTemplate.bat, which does not exist.

If you receive an error similar to: < OPatch was not able to find the Middleware Home's directory "/path/to/middlewareHome/../utils" to configure OCM >, when applying a patch with Opatch, it could be caused by the fact that CCB-MDM $PRODUCT_HOME was installed under $MW_HOME. If that was the case, create a new CCB-MDM $PRODUCT_HOME outside of the $MW_HOME tree.
