Duplicated Population Of Extended_rating_attributes Field (Doc ID 1385030.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.3.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

We have increased number of rejected CDRs (Call Detail Record), due to duplicated population of CUSTOMER_DATA.EXTENDED_RATING_ATTRIBUTES field in pipeline EDR (Event Detail Record) container.

When we look for the ERAs (Extended Rating Attributes) for a certain customer and there are multiple versions of an ERA with the same effective_t, the BatchAccount plugin will find several versions, besides the one currently valid. The iScript expects only one valid ERA to be found.

It can be found that EXTENDED_RATING_ATTRIBUTES are duplicated in EDR container. The custom iscript is then failing since it is looping through all EXTENDED_RATING_ATTRIBUTES field and duplicated data are seen
