Details

The Communications Global Business Unit have released Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper 5.0.0.1.

The new OCSG 5.0.0.1 release delivers a number of new features and capabilities including the following:

  • Support for OneAPI 2.0 SMS, MMS, terminal location and payment services making it easier and more attractive for 3rd parties to create innovative applications and services 
    OneAPI 2.1 Payment service support supporting the easy integration with the Wholesale Application Community (WAC) 
  • OAuth 2.0 providing multi-channel authorization of subscriber owned resources by mobile or web applications. Service providers can leverage this feature to support authentication for any telco or 3rd party service – such as charging and location - as well as to provide operator authentication as a service, enabling users to log into 3rd party applications using their subscriber ID 
  • REST to REST support enabling the rapid exposure and monetization of new telco or 3rd party RESTful-based services, leveraging all the security, policy control and partner management capabilities of the platform 
  • Intuitive network API tools including a REST communication service wizard enabling rapid creation of new services, interceptor creation wizard providing an intuitive and easy means of building interceptors to facilitate policy control, and a composed service level agreement (SLA) editor supporting simplified creation and management of partner access and usage of services
