How to Run a Java Trace on the OCNCC SMS Screens (Doc ID 1387436.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
***Checked for relevance on 11-OCT-2013***

Goal

This document will demonstrate how Java tracing can be enabled on the OCNCC SMS screens to capture diagnostic information when requested by Oracle Support Services.  As the SMS screens are Java Archives (JARs) downloaded to the client and executed there, no applications need to be restarted and this procedure is safe to run on a production environment at any time.

We trace the messages flow when the SU user clicks the Edit button on the CCS Subscriber screen.
