Purpose
1. Purpose of this document is to provide information about DBMS jobs.The document answers the below mentioned questions.
2. What are the DBMS jobs running in IPM environment?
3. What does each DBMS job does and what is the implication of these jobs not running? There are four instances of the ipls_db_util.removeUnreferencedInstances job running at the same time. Is this correct?
4. Each instance of the ipls_db_util.removeUnreferencedInstances runs for about 8 hours. Is that expected?
5. How to determine if a job has failed?
6. Can customers use their corporate scheduling software to run these jobs rather than use DBMS jobs?
