The ccsChangeDaemon Process Is Constantly Reporting "ORA-01002: fetch out of sequence" Errors (Doc ID 1388081.1)

The ccsChangeDaemon is a process running on the Service Management System (SMS) server and handles changes in Periodic Charges for Subscribers that swap their product type amongst other tasks. (Another instance of ccsChangeDaemon runs on the Vouchers and Wallet Server (VWS) and handles different tasks).

From the Network Charging and Control Charging Control Services (CCS) Technical guide:

ccsChangeDaemon updates assignment of periodic charges to wallets.

On the SMS ccsChangeDaemon handles periodic charge changes when:
  • a subscriber is associated with a new wallet, or
  • a subscriber changes product type for a wallet.
