Goal

The following questions have been raised regarding Database script processing for MWM. These questions and answers provide information on specific scripts to run for database migration:

1. It appears that the V5_DEV_1.4.5.28_1_MigrateConfig.sql script and the DEV_1.4.5.28_1_MigrateConfig.sql script are identical. Which script is used when migrating MWM to a new environment?


2. What changes do you make in the Database when you migrate the script from a development environment to a QA or Production environment?


3. There are several other scripts floating around that update the DBPATCH table. Is that just for reference or does that have another use?


4. Can you summarize the Database steps required in migrating from one environment to another with MWM?
