Error "PIN_ERR_DM_CONNECT_FAILED" While Installing BRM 7.5 In Linux (Doc ID 1391952.1)

Purpose

While running the pin_setup script during installation of BRM, we encountered the below error:


pin.conf is generated under /pinhome/pin/opt/portal/7.5/sys/dm_oracle/pin.conf
dm_oracle: Configuring database
Execute SQL statement from file /pinhome/pin/opt/portal/7.5/sys/dm_oracle/data/create_dd_UTF8.source
Loading objects from file
pcmdd: bad connect for test.com, errno 111
errno=<PIN_ERR_DM_CONNECT_FAILED:26> location=<Unknown pin location:0> class=<UNKNOWN:0> field num=<0:0,0> recid=<0> reserved=<111>
