Symptoms
Request for UIM to allow the following functionality:
A) UIM will automatically analyze the connections between the devices and decide what type of the Topology this Network is, such as Ring Topology, and then automatically layout the Topological View as a Ring Topology.
or
B) When creating a Network, users will assign a Topology layout to the Network (from the dropdown list of the Topology attribute), and UIM will lay out the Network based on the Topology attribute. For example, if the Topology of the Network is Star, UIM will draw the Network as a Star format.
