Showing debug Faceting, Searchscore, or Relavency in InfoCenter or Iconnect User Interface

Goal
This is helpful debug information when comparing search results between testdrive and infocenter or iconnect while testing in the development environment. The facet counts roughly represent the total number of documents that match according to parameters passed in from a test profile or the faceting done by the rules for the question. From these numbers in your testdrive results and the infocenter results you can determine what profile/parameters might be different.
- If the facet numbers are different then the faceting between the two responses was different, ie more or less articles were included in the processing. This would indicate that views or usergroups or included collections are different between the two apps. This also would cause different articles to have the highest scores and be returned first in the results. To find the same articles in both result sets additional filtering/faceting of the first results might need to be applied.
- If the scoring numbers are different for the same articles then the SC rules were different between the two tests.
- Relevancy can also be shown with some customization in infocenter.
See these additional articles.
The runtimes only return these best answers not the complete set of all possible answers. As faceting/filtering is done then answers can be targeted to types of articles returned.
The answer scores can be compared as well to understand if the same scoring rules are running in both applications.
