Showing debug Faceting, Searchscore, or Relavency in InfoCenter or Iconnect User Interface (Doc ID 1393423.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Knowledge - Version 8.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This is helpful debug information when comparing search results between testdrive and infocenter or iconnect while testing in the development environment.  The facet counts roughly represent the total number of documents that match according to parameters passed in from a test profile or the faceting done by the rules for the question.  From these numbers in your testdrive results and the infocenter results you can determine what profile/parameters might be different.

See these additional articles.

What are the facet counts made up of?(Doc ID 1039070.1)
How to setup Test Profiles with user.segment for the rules' Business Condition in Test Drive(Doc ID 1439104.1)

The runtimes only return these best answers not the complete set of all possible answers.  As faceting/filtering is done then answers can be targeted to types of articles returned.

The answer scores can be compared as well to understand if the same scoring rules are running in both applications.
