RIB Version 13.2 Is Consuming Too Many Database Connections (Doc ID 1401539.1)

Symptoms

Retail Integration Bus (RIB) version 13.2 database is consuming too many database connections under Java Data Base Connectivity (JDBC) thin client.
Under JDBC Thin client, too many active sessions are found for RIB Advance Queuing (AQ) schema.

Steps To Reproduce :

1) When RIB is UP, check for the database session usage
2) Under JDBC Thin client, too many active sessions found for Schema RIBAQ.
3) Following query can be used for this :
> Select * from V$SESSION where program='JDBC Thin Client' and username like '%RIBAQ%' ;
4) This issue is causing the performance problems, effecting other job processing and some times leading to the following exceptions also:
