Imcheck Causes Critical Error: Logging Region Out Of Memory (Doc ID 1419490.1)

In the example below multiple imcheck processes led to the error.

Symptoms


"Logging region out of memory" errors while running many concurrent imcheck commands:

[09/Feb/2012:04:36:40 -0600] mshost imcheck[21848]: Store Critical: MQueue database error: Logging region out of memory; you may need to increase its size
[09/Feb/2012:04:36:40 -0600] mshost imcheck[21848]: Store Critical: Unable to open clean.db: Not enough space
[09/Feb/2012:04:36:40 -0600] mshost imcheck[21848]: Store Critical: mqueue database environment initialization failed
...
[09/Feb/2012:05:06:21 -0600] mshost imcheck[29870]: Store Critical: MQueue database error: Logging region out of memory; you may need to increase its size
[09/Feb/2012:05:06:21 -0600] mshost imcheck[29870]: Store Critical: Unable to open purge.db: Not enough space
[09/Feb/2012:05:06:21 -0600] mshost imcheck[29870]: Store Critical: mqueue database environment initialization failed
