How Can We Add a New Dimension to our Existing RPAS Domain? (Doc ID 1420095.1)

Goal

Is it possible to simply use rpasInstall -patchinstall or loadHier to add a new dimension to our existing domain?   We have tried, and the patchinstall log file shows that the patch was successful; however, the new dimension does not appear in the domain.
