Purpose

Frequently Asked Questions about Event Notification APIs.

This article is about the facility for Messaging Server and Calendar Server to generate (publish) events which can be received (consumed) by a customer-written application.  For example, if you want to have some external program notified when users delete email, you could enable the DeleteMsg event.
