FW: XAI Senders and Receivers are not able to Initialize after Security enforced in MQ7 (Doc ID 1424513.1)

Symptoms

After security is enforced in MQ7 with username and password XAI Senders and Receivers are not initialized. Sender and receiver throwing an exception:

 

"Failed to connect to queue manager"
 com.splwg.mpl.sending.SenderInitException: Unable to send message :
 JMSWMQ0018: Failed to connect to queue manager
 com.splwg.mpl.receiving.ReceiverInitException: Unable to receive Queue
 Message:JMSWMQ0018: Failed to connect to queue manager

Changes

1.  Enable username and password authentication in MQ7
2.  Make the changes in Websphere with username and password information
3.  Restart WebSphere Server
4.  Restart MPL server
5.  MPL logs show the exceptions in initializing sender and receiver.
